The university has undertaken a multi-year effort to develop a comprehensive institution-wide brand identity.  Our plan is to begin implementation of this brand strategy in May 2020 with the delivery of the following components:

  • University messaging platform and creative strategy
  • Updated visual identity
  • Redesigned recruitment marketing materials
  • Updated homepage and social media channels
  • Brand manual website with assets, guidelines and other resources
  • Introductory and how-to content about the university brand
  • Implementation schedule for university units

To ensure a successful start in May, we are asking units hold off on implementing elements of the new brand strategy, including the updated university logo, until the new brand manual website is live with all the resources you will need to get started. In the meanwhile, the best available information is posted at

We are grateful for the input and feedback from the campus community that has guided this process so far and appreciate the enthusiasm of those who are ready to make the transition. If you have any questions, please check with your area communications lead, or send us an email to

Thank you,

Ben Hill on behalf of the university brand committee
