The Office of Strategic Communication has completed the transition of the photo and video library to Mediagraph. The new platform is now available for university faculty and staff to access via HawkID log in and comes with improved functionality that includes:
- Advanced search and filtering options
- AI integrations
- Increased support for video and audio files
- Searchable video transcriptions
- More robust and customizable access controls
- HIPPA compliance
Content creators, please note that photo and video assets will no longer be uploaded to Photoshelter and existing Photoshelter workspaces will expire on May 31, 2025. For questions, contact osc-brand@uiowa.edu.
Training opportunities
To assist users with learning the new platform, the Office of Strategic Communication will be hosting live virtual trainings in April and May. To register for a training session, please fill out the Mediagraph training sign-up form.
