We wanted to share a quick update on brand work underway within the Office of Strategic Communication and invite you to follow along as it develops.
What started as visual identity updates to address specific gaps and new constraints has expanded into a broader effort to build a more cohesive design system that can support a growing range of experiences, tools, and platforms. Rather than solving for each situation individually, we’re building a shared design foundation so decisions, patterns, and common elements are defined, tested, and applied consistently across digital and print applications. This will make it easier to create aligned work, reduce rework, and give teams more clarity and confidence when making design decisions.
We’ll be sharing this work as it develops through a series of short demos, and these sessions are an opportunity to see what’s in progress, ask questions, and contribute to how it evolves. To start, these will take place during the existing weekly web demo time. While we’re using that time, the content will go beyond web and focus on brand-level design decisions.
- When: Thursdays, 1–2 p.m. via Zoom (starting May 21)
- How to join:
- Join the Web Community Teams channel for weekly agendas and meeting details
- Set a calendar reminder to drop in when it’s useful
If you're interested in where the brand is headed or want to have a voice in how it takes shape, we’d love to have you there. No preparation needed. Agendas will be shared the morning of each demo.
We hope you'll join us and look forward to seeing you there!
